About Ms. Fitzgerald

I graduated from The University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. The 2022-2023 school year is my eighth year of teaching. I took the past few years off, and I'm super excited to be back in the classroom!

I grew up in DeSoto County, and I graduated from Horn Lake High School. I have 2 children and one fur baby. I love spending time with my family, watching movies, and trying new foods - yum!

I am super excited for this school year! I know this will be a great year, and I can't wait to help my little chargers grow. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help your child.

8:30-8:45 - calendar math

8:45-9:00 – Heggerty phonemic awareness

9:00-9:30 – Fundations phonics

9:30-9:40 – snack/Health

9:40-10:20 - ELA reading comprehension and writing block

10:20-11:05 - activity

M - Art

T - Computer

W - Library

TH - Music

F - P.E.

11:05-11:53 – learning stations (ELA, math, social)

11:53-12:25 - lunch

12:25-12:45 – intervention, i-Ready

12:45-1:05 – math focus lesson

1:05-1:35 – recess

1:35-1:50 – skill review, restroom

1:50-2:20 – math independent practice

2:20-2:50 - rest

2:50-3:25 - afternoon wrap-up, dismissal

*Science and Social Studies will be integrated into the ELA reading comprehension and writing block.
