Bio

Hello Parents! My name is Angelique Cooper, and I am a special education teacher at Hope Sullivan Elementary.. I am very excited for the opportunity to work with your child this year! We have a lot of wonderful activities and learning opportunities planned. I want to share a little about myself. I graduated from Christian Brothers University with a degree in Human Development and became licensed in teaching grades K-8. I received my Master of Arts in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, and I have endorsements in Special Education, English as a second language, and library/media.. This is my 22nd year as an educator. I taught in the general education classroom for 14 years and this is my 8th year in special education. I have 4 daughters ages 30, 20, 16, and 14 years old. My youngest has autism with developmental delay and Tourettes Syndrome. She amazes me every day and I have learned so much from her! I know what it feels like to have a non-verbal child that you have to send to school all day. It is worrisome and can be terrifying to the child and parent. I also know how it feels to have wonderful teachers that make you feel like you can go to work and not worry about your child all day. It is my mission and goal to be that teacher and that blessing for you! I promise that your child will be loved, cared for, and as happy as possible while he or she is with me.

I am grateful for this blessing and opportunity to work with you and your child this year!

Sincerely,

Ms, Cooper
